Bugs #10 and #8 - table top metal insect sculptures by Bruce Gray

"Bug #10" (5x9x8) and "Bug #8" (6x10x11) are constructed in steel and found objects by sculptor Bruce Gray. The smaller bugs are equally at home on the wall, table, or suspended from the ceiling. The Bug series has been very popular, and most of the bugs from Gray's original solo Bug Show and retrospective at Bova Gallery are now in collections. Bug 10 is in a private collection, and Bug 8 is currently available for $600. A Bug similar to Bug 10 would be $400.

Bruce Gray's contemporary and abstract modern metal and wood sculptures have been displayed as part of group or solo art exhibitions at many Art Galleries and Art Museums from Santa Monica to Soho and abroad. The Los Angeles sculptor and artist is also well known for his kinetic sculptures which include mobiles and stabiles, amazing gravity defying suspended super power magnet sculptures, and rolling ball sculptures. Gray's sculptures, abstract paintings, and art furniture are part of over 1100 private and corporate art collections worldwide, and have appeared in hundreds of movies, TV shows, music videos, and commercials, as well as frequently in the press..
